From February to April we will be testing our school curriculum at five schools in Italy, Portugal, Ireland and Turkey. During these test, primary and secondary school pupils will be guided to explore and research what makes their rural area unique. In this uniqueness you can find identity and pride. The curriculum is based on the ‘Inquiry Based Education’ approach.
Our partner, the Sapienza University, is conducting a scientific research on the impact of the curriculum on the levels of pride of place, place identity and place attachment (and more) of the pupils. Results can be expected in September 2020.
